You'll design and build Android experiences for millions of Roku users to control their streaming devices. Your work will shape how customers interact with their smart home, integrating cloud APIs and local protocols. You'll join a high-performance team with a history of delivery and a modern tech stack including Kotlin and Compose.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and build advanced Android applications and features
• Integrate with cloud APIs and local device communication protocols
• Write and maintain tests using JUnit and Espresso
• Debug, profile, and optimize app performance across Android devices

📋 Requirements

• Professional Android development experience
• Experience with Kotlin and/or Compose
• Experience shipping and maintaining production apps in the Play Store
• Proficiency in using AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT)

• Experience with IoT or networked device interactions
• Familiarity with BLE, web sockets, or MQTT protocols
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in agile environments
