Description

You will design and implement automated, scalable processes for geometric calibration of our satellite constellation, develop photogrammetric models and error budgets, and troubleshoot complex image quality issues to ensure our products meet rigorous geometric specifications.

Requirements

• 10+ years industry experience with statistical processing and analysis of large measurement datasets
• Bachelor's degree in Photogrammetry, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics relevant to geometric characterization of space imaging platforms
• Extensive experience with scientific computing using Python in Unix/Linux environment
• Knowledge of scaling code with cloud computing resources (e.g., AWS or GCP)
• Hands-on, can-do attitude and ability to collaborate effectively

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing space imaging operations, geometric calibration activities and performance characterization
• Design and implement automated scalable processes to calibrate hundreds of satellites ensuring products meet specifications and SLAs
• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop performance models, error budgets, and calibration concepts for new high-resolution constellations
• Troubleshoot geometric image quality issues and develop long-term mitigations and fixes
