💼 About This Role

You'll join SumUp's P2P team to process vendor invoices and support month-end close activities across multiple European entities. Your work ensures financial accuracy for millions of small businesses. This role offers a strong foundation in global fintech accounting within a fast-moving environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Process and post vendor invoices and credit notes accurately across multiple entities
• Manage the accounts payable mailbox and respond to vendor queries
• Assist with travel and expense transaction processing and record maintenance
• Contribute to month-end close activities including accruals and bank postings

📋 Requirements

• Solid foundational knowledge of accounting principles including debits and credits
• Comfortable working with Excel for data entry and basic analysis
• Ability to manage workload accurately under deadlines in a high-volume environment
• Fluency in English both written and spoken

• Experience with ERP systems
• Familiarity with accounts payable processes
• Prior internship in accounting or finance
