💼 About This Role

You'll join the Labeling Platform Team at Waymo to build state-of-the-art labeling infrastructure that powers the ML lifecycle for autonomous driving. You'll improve the data flywheel through automation and monitoring, working closely with labeling operations teams to enhance efficiency. This hybrid role offers the chance to impact self-driving technology used in millions of miles of real-world driving.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build state-of-the-art labeling infrastructure for dataset production.
• Improve end-to-end data flywheel efficiency via automation and monitoring.
• Collaborate with labeling operations to enhance process efficiency.
• Develop tooling for managing large workforces and task distribution.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's in CS or related field with 3+ years equivalent experience.
• Experience developing data annotation or review tools (e.g., labeling for ML).
• Experience building API servers and web backends.
• Proficiency in TypeScript or frontend frameworks (Angular, ReactJS).

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with diverse data annotation tooling and infrastructure.
• Knowledge of labeled datasets in the full ML ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with LLM/GenAI products.
