Description

In this role, you will ensure the reliability and uptime of Braze's internal services and platforms by applying engineering principles and automation. You will collaborate with engineering teams to architect scalable systems, debug issues across the stack, and develop internal infrastructure using IaC and deployment pipelines.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience as Software, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineer
• Strong programming skills in Ruby and/or Go
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform or similar IaC
• Experience with MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, Postgres or similar data technologies
• Strong Linux and Unix Shell knowledge

Responsibilities

• Architect products for scalable, reliable use of infrastructure platforms
• Debug reliability and scalability issues across all stack layers
• Create monitoring and alerting focused on symptoms, not outages
• Develop infrastructure as code using Chef, Terraform, Kubernetes
• Develop deployment pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes
