As a Senior DevOps engineer at Astranis, you'll streamline CI pipelines, optimize build tools, and automate deployment for spacecraft infrastructure. Your work directly supports mission-critical satellite operations, enabling rapid iteration and reliability in space.

Requirements

• 6+ years experience in Infrastructure and DevOps engineering
• Bachelor of Science in related discipline
• Proficiency with Python or other scripting language
• Experience with scaling build systems like Bazel, CMake, or Pants
• Strong experience with Linux and CI tools such as Gitlab, Github, Jenkins, Tekton

Responsibilities

• Maintain and streamline CI pipeline integrating with real and simulated hardware
• Introduce and optimize build tools and workflows to accelerate development
• Automate release, deployment, and monitoring tooling
• Implement metrics and performance tracking across development, CI, production, and mission contexts
• Lead initiatives to improve developer productivity and experience
