💼 About This Role

You'll join Workato's R&D team to build high-performance distributed systems for enterprise orchestration. You'll design and develop scalable APIs and queuing engines that power mission-critical workflows. This role offers the chance to work in a polyglot environment and contribute to open source.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and develop high-volume, low-latency distributed systems
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Evaluate and propose improvements to existing systems

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience
• Experience building and shipping large-scale distributed systems
• Systems-level programming in C, Go, or Rust
• Expertise in L2, L3, and/or L4 networking protocols

✨ Nice to Have

• Contributions to open source projects
• Experience with public cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Understanding of Kubernetes concepts
