Description

You will lead the recreational program at a behavioral health facility, designing activities that support clients' recovery and independence. This role is part of a holistic care team focused on skill-building and wellness in the Napa Valley area.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in occupational, music, dance, art, or recreation therapy
• Registration or eligibility as a therapist in one of the above fields
• Valid California driver's license
• 2 years experience in social/recreational program within past 5 years, 1 year full-time in healthcare activities program
• Current CPR certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Create and lead recreational activities, hobbies, physical activities, and holiday events
• Support client wellness through holistic care including behavioral skill building and pre-vocational training
• Help clients develop skills for independent community living
