Description

You will lead Stripe's Event Infrastructure team, building and operating the reliable, low-latency backbone that captures, routes, and persists billions of events daily. Your work ensures resilient, scalable systems for real-time ingestion and high-throughput delivery, enabling product teams to build on a predictable event-streaming foundation.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in a technical engineering management role overseeing strategic projects
• Deep technical background in distributed systems and operating Tier0 infrastructure at massive scale
• Ability to bridge deep engineering needs with global business growth forecasts and product strategy
• Experience managing through ambiguity and making critical trade-offs between reliability, efficiency, and architectural health
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
