💼 About This Role

You'll develop a software platform that interfaces with automobile embedded hardware, creating abstractions and APIs for efficient AV software deployment. You'll drive efficiency, maintainability, and scalability of embedded systems for autonomous vehicles. This role is key to advancing Wayve's Embodied AI technology.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and develop embedded software for autonomous vehicle platforms.
• Implement and optimize device drivers for sensors and compute hardware.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on software requirements and integration.
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues to ensure reliability and performance.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience in embedded software development for automotive or robotics
• Proficiency in C++ for high-performance systems
• Hands-on experience with embedded operating systems (e.g., Linux, QNX)

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with NVIDIA Drive Orin or Qualcomm 8650/8620 platforms
• Understanding of safety-critical standards (ISO 26262, AUTOSAR, MISRA)
• Experience deploying autonomous vehicle software on commercial automobiles
