💼 About This Role

You'll join the Edge Application Engineering team to design and develop new features for the Image Optimizer product using Go and Rust. You'll play a crucial role in building high-reliability distributed systems and ensuring top-quality customer and developer experiences at the edge.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead full lifecycle projects from design to maintenance
• Design and implement new features in Go and Rust
• Identify and resolve performance and reliability issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years professional experience in high-reliability distributed systems
• 5+ years experience with Go or Rust
• 3+ years experience with cloud and container technologies (Kubernetes, GCP)
• Experience creating clear technical documentation

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Varnish Configuration Language (VCL)
• Image/video containers and formats
• Experience with Terraform
