Description

You will support SpaceX's community relations in south Texas by coordinating outreach events, managing government and community relationships, and preparing reports and correspondence. This role involves working with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen the company's local presence in Cameron County and the Rio Grande Valley.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years experience in community, business, and government relations or event planning
• 2+ years event planning or administrative experience
• Willing to travel (~20%) and work extended hours/weekends
• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee for ITAR compliance

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outreach efforts including community events, sponsorships, and partnerships
• Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence for government officials and community leaders
• Manage scheduling, logistics, and follow-up for meetings and events
• Monitor media coverage, social media trends, and public sentiment, and compile summaries
• Develop and maintain databases of stakeholders, contacts, and partnership opportunities
