Description

You will support ToroAire's HVAC and commercial kitchen business by driving sales of air distribution and HVAC products, preparing quotes, entering orders, and managing project files. You'll work closely with outside sales, engineering, and operations to deliver accurate, timely solutions to customers.

Requirements

• Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial) preferred, or equivalent job experience
• Extremely detail oriented
• Customer service driven
• Solid communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong computer skills
• Work well in a team setting
• Thrive in a fast paced, multi-task environment
• NetSuite experience not required, but a big plus

Responsibilities

• Support assigned Outside Sales Engineers to facilitate sales
• Support fellow Inside Sales Engineers as back-up, when necessary
• Advise customers with the proper application and selection of equipment
• Prepare quotes for equipment based on customer input
• Enter orders for equipment sold by Outside Sales Engineers
• Detailed tracking of the order process
• Manage virtual files for all projects in which assigned salespeople are involved
• Use selection programs provided by manufacturers to select and configure equipment for design and quoting
• Assist customers with technical support and maintain good working relationships
• Prepare submittals for equipment sold
