Description

In this role, you will lead the Guest Experience engineering team at Mews, a Hotel Tech unicorn. You will shape engineering strategy, drive cross-product execution, and build a high-performance culture to deliver personalized guest experiences and automation. Your work will directly impact guest journey coverage, guest lifetime value, and staff efficiency.

Requirements

• Significant experience leading engineering organisations in a modern B2B SaaS, platform, or product company.
• Track record of leading through scale, ambiguity, and change.
• Strong technical judgment to guide architecture, quality, and execution.
• Experience building healthy organisations through coaching engineering managers and senior engineers.
• Ability to partner deeply with Product and Design and lead in a model where business context, user value, and engineering execution are tightly connected.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow engineering teams through managers and senior ICs, fostering clarity, accountability, and high performance.
• Partner with Product, Design, Data, and engineering leaders to turn strategy into execution.
• Set engineering direction balancing speed, quality, and long-term scalability.
• Raise the bar on engineering excellence, operational health, and delivery rigor.
• Drive cross-tribe and cross-division collaboration, especially across Front of House, Back of House, Platform, and Fintech.
