💼 About This Role

You'll design and build test automation frameworks for K2 Space's flight software stack, working directly with engineers writing code for spacecraft. Your work enables rapid, confident software deployment to orbit, owning HIL and SIL infrastructure. This is a builder role, not QA—you'll operate test systems against hardware that launches to space.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and own software test frameworks for flight software subsystems
• Build automation tooling integrated into CI/CD pipelines for fast deployment
• Develop HIL and SIL test infrastructure with flight software engineers
• Create tooling for test execution, data collection, and anomaly triage
• Reduce flaky tests and improve coverage, reliability, and execution speed

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in CS, CE, EE, Aerospace, or equivalent experience
• Experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks
• Experience with CI/CD systems (e.g., GitLab Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and Git

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with HIL testbeds or embedded systems testing
• Rust programming experience, including embedded or no_std
• Familiarity with RTOS or bare-metal embedded firmware
