You'll define architectural direction and lead technical initiatives for the Maps SDK team at Mapbox. You'll drive cross-functional projects integrating multiple SDKs for mobile maps, enabling customer apps to deploy quickly and efficiently. This role offers the chance to shape long-term strategic direction and mentor talented engineers.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define and oversee large-scale cross-functional projects
• Design expressive APIs for developers using our SDKs
• Deliver high-quality features with cross-functional teams
• Debug, profile, and optimize performance issues

📋 Requirements

• Complex Android applications and SDKs experience
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java
• Experience with testing methodologies and frameworks
• Focus on usability and great user experience

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with C++
• Familiarity with AOSP code
• Experience debugging and profiling performance issues
