Description

You will build reliable systems and interfaces with clean, well-tested code, collaborate on architecture decisions, and mentor peers. You'll split time between hands-on coding, planning/architecture, learning/teaching, and enabling best practices.

Requirements

• Principal, Staff or tech lead level experience as a Software Engineer
• Deep understanding of modern web application development tools and techniques
• Experience in one or more languages: frontend (modern frameworks) or backend (RESTful APIs, data storage)
• Experience delivering architectural change in large complex systems

Responsibilities

• Coding, code reviews, bug fixing, peer programming, incident response
• Planning/architecture: estimating, collaborating with products, establishing MVP
• Learning and teaching: chapter reviews, research, coaching and mentoring developers
• Enabling: shared libraries, open source contributions, documenting best practices
