You'll conduct applied research on foundation models for autonomous driving. You'll design experiments by training and evaluating large deep learning models. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with research teams across Alphabet.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Conduct applied foundation model research and development
• Design experiments by training and evaluating large deep learning models
• Present results to peers and leadership
• Write high quality code, unit tests, and documentation

📋 Requirements

• Master's or PhD in deep learning in behavior and agent modeling or simulation
• Proficiency in Python
• 3+ years experience with modern deep learning frameworks
• Experience in generative modeling and LLMs or VLMs

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with post-training, including reinforcement learning
• Experience with distillation and transformer models
• Experience with autoencoders and embeddings
