Description

As a Senior Manager of Technical Program Management, you will lead a team of TPMs to drive cross-organizational programs that enhance the guest and host experience on Airbnb's platform. You'll collaborate closely with engineering, product, design, operations, and finance teams to deliver high-quality features and platform improvements while using AI to automate processes and scale impact.

Requirements

• 13+ years in technical program management with at least 5 years leading a TPM team.
• 5+ years leading a TPM team collaborating with product and design on customer-facing features, ideally leveraging AI.
• Experience using AI to automate manual processes.
• Proven track record of data-driven decision making.
• Experience with iterative development and optimizing product development lifecycles.
• Extensive experience in change management and process engineering to improve efficiencies.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and influence across boundaries.
• Nimble, self-motivated, proactive, and effective in dynamic environments.
• Highly organized with impeccable communication skills.
• Experience growing a TPM function in a startup environment is a plus.

• Build and maintain a high-performance culture, developing a team of TPMs through feedback, coaching, and career growth.
• Scale team impact by favoring automation and leveraging AI to minimize manual work.
• Identify and drive process improvements to improve engineering deliverables quality and tracking efficiency.
• Collaborate with design, finance, operations, and PMO to improve cross-functional collaboration.
• Act as communication lead for engineering community during bi-annual product releases.
• Align strategies and roadmaps with peers across teams, ensuring effective prioritization.
• Provide executional guidance for projects, simplifying complexity and unblocking teams.
