Description

You will lead the development and application of Laser Capture Microdissection (LCM) workflows coupled to proximity biotinylation protocols to map molecular environments of proteins in cells and tissues. Your work will contribute to drug discovery and basic research by identifying and validating therapeutic targets and biomarkers.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or related with 3+ years post-doc or industry
  • Proficiency in Laser Capture Microdissection (e.g., Leica LMD)
  • Experience with multiplex immunofluorescence and tissue processing
  • Fluorescence microscopy (confocal) and quantitative image analysis
  • Experience with proximity biotinylation techniques (BioID, APEX2, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Apply LCM to isolate specific cell populations for downstream multiomics
  • Develop automated image analysis and LCM workflows for throughput
  • Collaborate with proteomics, metabolomics, genomics labs for molecular recovery
  • Design and optimize proximity biotinylation strategies to map PPIs in situ
  • Optimize delivery vectors or CRISPR systems to express proximity enzymes
