Description

You will join the Pickup, Places and Search team within the Mapping organization to build and maintain data pipelines that power Lyft's rider and driver pickup/dropoff experience. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data models, optimize performance, and deliver scalable mapping solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in data engineering or related field
• Strong expertise in SQL and experience with Trino or Spark/PySpark
• Experience building complex data models and ETL pipelines
• Hands-on with workflow management tools like Airflow
• Proficiency in scripting language like Python or Bash

Responsibilities

• Own core data pipelines and scale data processing flow
• Evolve data models and schemas based on business requirements
• Implement systems to monitor and enhance data quality
• Develop tools for self-service ETL management and optimize performance
• Write scalable, maintainable code and conduct code reviews
