You'll shape quality strategy across complex aerospace programs. You'll own strategic quality planning, lead risk mitigation using APQP/PPAP, drive process stability with statistical rigor, and mentor junior engineers. This role offers a chance to influence design for manufacturability and inspection at a fast-moving aerospace startup.

๐ŸŽฏ What You'll Do

  • Develop Quality Management Plans for new aerospace programs
  • Lead APQP and PPAP activities across programs and suppliers
  • Partner with design engineering to define Critical-to-Quality features
  • Conduct cross-functional investigations using 8D, Fishbone, and 5-Why

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of Quality Engineering experience in aerospace or defense
  • Expert knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, and AS9145
  • Advanced proficiency in GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
  • Must be a US Person as defined by ITAR

โœจ Nice to Have

  • B.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
  • Experience with statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
