💼 About This Role

You'll join a team designing the world's highest performing engine for small launchers at Vast, a company building next-generation space stations. You'll help complete the flight engine design, transitioning the system from development to production, working with internal manufacturing and test teams. This role offers the chance to be part of rapid space station development with a hardware-rich, low-cost approach.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design engine parts and assemblies using CAD and analysis.
• Support manufacturing through 3D-printing, machining, and inspection.
• Assist with propulsion component assembly and testing.
• Participate in engine testing and troubleshooting.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, development, fabrication, assembly, or test.
• Proficiency in CAD (NX preferred) and GD&T.
• Experience with ANSYS or MATLAB.

• Hands-on engineering skills (full-stack).
