Description

As a Senior Applied AI Engineer in Pre-Sales, you will work with Celonis' strategic customers to understand their business challenges and build AI solutions using the Process Intelligence platform. You will prototype solutions, demonstrate value to executives, and ensure successful implementation and adoption to drive real ROI.

Requirements

• 3+ years leading technical pre-sales, defining AI roadmaps, building ROI/TCO business cases, prototyping ML and generative AI solutions
• Understanding of generative AI techniques (RAG, few shot learning, prompt engineering, multi-agent orchestration, fine-tuning)
• Understanding of business processes across sectors (Supply Chain or Finance) with ability to translate business needs into AI use cases
• Good knowledge of Python and ML libraries (LangChain, pandas, pydantic, sklearn, PyTorch) and data engineering tools
• Eligibility for UK Security Check (SC) clearance required; existing clearance a strong advantage

Responsibilities

• AI Discovery Solutioning: Understand customers' AI strategy and business challenges, find best problem-solution fit
• Hackathons Prototyping: Rapidly build creative prototypes using AI technologies in customer hackathons
• Agentic Process Transformation: Support customers in achieving ROI from AI deployments using Celonis Process Intelligence Platform
• Proof projects: Execute end-to-end Proof-of-Value projects, deliver secure LLM/agent systems with RAG and guardrails
• Ensure Successful Project Outcome: Stay involved until agreed value adoption thresholds are reached
