💼 About This Role

You'll design and build ML models and systems for Stripe's self-serve support experience, leveraging LLMs for conversational agents and personalization. Your work will directly improve support quality and user satisfaction for millions of businesses. You'll collaborate with a cross-functional team to integrate state-of-the-art ML models and generative AI technologies into Stripe's support stack.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement ML models for self-serve support systems
• Develop and optimize contextual conversation models
• Create and refine pipelines for training and evaluating models
• Implement ML features for support agent efficiency

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in ML/AI or related field
• 3+ years in AI/ML and backend engineering with production ML systems
• Deep applied LLM experience (RAG, tool use, agentic planning)
• Proficient in Python and strong distributed systems fundamentals

✨ Nice to Have

• MS/PhD in ML/AI or related field
• Experience with Java or Ruby codebases
• Experience with Agentic LLM solutions for customer support
