💼 About This Role

You'll lead architecture and technical evolution of a next-generation distributed data platform at Alluxio. You'll drive system-level design decisions to scale to thousands of nodes and exabytes of data. This role combines deep technical leadership with hands-on development.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end architecture of large-scale distributed systems.
• Drive technical strategy across multiple teams and components.
• Design systems for high scalability, fault tolerance, and performance.
• Provide hands-on development and technical guidance.
• Lead system design reviews and mentor senior engineers.

📋 Requirements

• MS or BS in Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years in technical leadership or architect role.
• Strong hands-on development in Java, C/C++, or Go.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems and storage systems.
• Ability to design scalable end-to-end architectures in production.

✨ Nice to Have

• PhD in Computer Science or Distributed Systems.
• Experience with consensus algorithms or large-scale data systems.
• Contributions to open-source distributed systems projects.
