You'll develop state-of-the-art search models for Cohere's retrieval systems, working on tasks including training embedding and reranker models. Your work will directly improve semantic search accuracy and integrate into production infrastructure, collaborating with product and serving teams.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design, train, and improve cutting-edge search models
• Gather high-quality retrieval datasets and optimize data pipelines
• Work with model serving team to ensure fast, stable inference
• Collaborate with product teams to develop solutions

📋 Requirements

• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX
• Familiarity with training and using information retrieval models
• Experience leveraging Large Language Models in training or evaluation

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience building training or evaluation datasets for practical use cases
• Proficiency in C++ or Golang
• Experience with large-scale distributed training strategies using GPUs
