Description

You will provide technical support for Canonical's cloud stack, including Ubuntu, OpenStack, and Kubernetes, helping customers solve complex problems and optimize their data-center operations. You will act as a technical authority, communicate regularly with customer teams, and guide them to successful infrastructure operations.

Requirements

• Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills
• Exceptional academic track record from high school and university
• Undergraduate degree in a technical subject or compelling alternative path
• Hands-on experience with virtualization/cloud (KVM, OpenStack), containers (Docker, LXD/LXC, Kubernetes), and storage technologies
• Extensive customer support experience

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of Linux virtualization (Libvirt/KVM), containers, and Kubernetes to support custom solutions
• Be the technical authority on open source software (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, Apache, etc.)
• Advise on deployed architecture and implement solutions for complex problems
• Guide customers to successful data-center infrastructure operations
• Communicate regularly with customer teams about ongoing issues
