💼 About This Role

You'll design mobile apps that make financial services accessible in Africa, working with product managers, researchers, and engineers. Your work will directly impact millions of users by removing friction from core flows. This role offers a unique chance to shape the design system and travel to markets twice a year.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Create high quality designs, interactions, and prototypes in Figma
• Craft user research plans and validate solutions in user testing
• Contribute to Wave’s design system and component library
• Communicate reasoning behind product decisions in review sessions

📋 Requirements

• At least 8 years of end-to-end in-house product design experience
• Excellent visual and interaction design skills
• Strong illustration and animation skills (After Effects or Lottie)
• Experience with low and high-fidelity design prototyping

✨ Nice to Have

• Fluency in French
• Experience with consumer-focused mobile apps
• Bias towards action and ability to iterate quickly
