💼 About This Role

You'll join a team of 6 senior engineers owning the full identity stack—OAuth 2.0, SSO, MFA, SCIM, and more—processing hundreds of thousands of requests per minute in production. You'll take end-to-end ownership of mission-critical microservices and shape the technical direction of a security-first team. This role sits at the heart of Vonage's cloud communications platforms, with real impact visible at scale from day one.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain authentication and authorization microservices
• Take full ownership of features from design to deployment and monitoring
• Manage production deployments using CI/CD pipelines and incident response
• Participate in on-call rotation for production alerts and root cause analysis

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Full-stack developer with strong server-side orientation
• Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript
• Hands-on AWS experience with core services and Kubernetes

✨ Nice to Have

• Deep knowledge of authentication/authorization protocols (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML)
• Experience with NestJS framework
• DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
