💼 About This Role

You'll design, integrate, and validate sensor systems for autonomous robots in real-world environments. You'll work across hardware and software teams to ensure accurate, time-synchronized data from LiDARs, cameras, IMUs, and GPS. This role offers the chance to shape systems from prototype to production at a fast-moving robotics company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define sensing requirements and select LiDARs, depth cameras, GPS, IMUs, ToF sensors.
• Integrate sensors with electrical, mechanical, and software systems for power and protocol compatibility.
• Implement synchronization strategies and validate temporal/spatial performance.
• Design and execute intrinsic/extrinsic calibrations and sensor characterization.

📋 Requirements

• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with LiDAR, depth cameras, IMUs, or GPS.
• Experience with communication protocols such as USB, Ethernet, GMSL, CAN, or I2C.
• Experience working with ROS/ROS2, sensor drivers, and coordinate transforms (TF).
