💼 About This Role

You'll source and own supplier relationships for a next-generation power company, collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and logistics teams. You'll execute our product roadmap through should-cost models and negotiated pricing. This role drives cost reduction strategies for new and existing products.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Create and manage request for proposals (RFPs)
• Develop should-cost models for hardware
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with suppliers
• Present recommendations on contract award and cost strategies

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years sourcing experience in a similar role
• Excel and spreadsheet skills for data analysis
• Organizational and project management abilities
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (~25%)

• Experience with MRP/ERP systems
• Record of managing escalations to executive level within a supplier
• First principles thinking applied to negotiations
