Description

As a Propulsion Manufacturing Engineer at Astranis, you'll oversee production of propulsion subsystems for high-orbit satellites, design tooling and equipment, develop manufacturing processes, and work cross-functionally to deliver on cost and schedule targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in technical discipline
• 3+ years industry experience in propulsion, space vehicles, or high-precision welding
• Proficiency in CAD and building hardware of own design
• Passion for manufacturing and hands-on design/development
• Must be onsite 5 days a week

Responsibilities

• Manage production of propulsion subsystem for satellite application
• Design and build tooling and equipment for propulsion components and subsystems
• Build and maintain factory infrastructure and capabilities
• Develop manufacturing processes meeting rigorous standards
• Work cross-functionally to deliver subsystem on time and at quality
