Description

You'll design and build scalable backend services and APIs powering Hover's mobile platform, working across the stack to improve reliability, performance, and observability. You'll collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and Design to deliver high-impact features that turn property data into 3D models.

Requirements

• 5-8+ years full-stack experience with strong backend expertise in Ruby on Rails
• Experience designing and building production systems with reliability focus
• Experience building APIs for mobile or distributed consumers
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL)
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS/GCP) and testing across the stack

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend services and APIs for the mobile platform
• Improve reliability, performance, and observability across the stack
• Write technical specifications and contribute to architecture decisions
• Debug complex challenges spanning backend and mobile layers
• Deliver features end-to-end from design through iteration
