Description

As a Staff ML Engineer for Search at Coupang Eats, you will design and maintain foundational models to improve end-to-end search quality across food delivery and quick-commerce in Korea and Japan. You will lead technical efforts, develop new ML models, and experiment to enhance customer search experiences.

Requirements

• Experience with large-scale, complex datasets to create ML models
• Track record of data-driven problem solving and launching successful features
• Tech lead experience collaborating across teams
• Full proficiency in English or Korean

Responsibilities

• Lead tech for Coupang Eats Search system across two business verticals and markets
• Develop new ML models to improve end-to-end search quality
• Build foundational LLM models powering the search system
• Improve search quality through experimentation
