💼 About This Role

You'll join the Engine team to build and maintain Workato's recipe execution platform, working with Ruby, Go, and Rust. You'll improve performance, scalability, and reliability of distributed backend systems. This role offers the chance to shape the core runtime of a leading enterprise orchestration platform.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and extend complex Ruby and Go applications
• Improve execution engine for custom third-party code
• Integrate data storage solutions like Postgres, S3, Kafka
• Provide technical leadership and code reviews

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years experience in scalable distributed backend applications
• Excellent understanding of distributed systems patterns and algorithms
• Multilingual programming experience in at least two languages
• Experience with cloud deployments (k8s, Terraform, ArgoCD)

✨ Nice to Have

• Background in Go, Rust, or WASM
• Experience with Docker and isolation technologies
• Experience building data processing pipelines
