Description

You will lead and mentor a team of technicians in the mass production of Starlink satellite hardware, collaborating with engineers to transition products from development to full-rate production. Your focus will be on driving continuous improvement, optimizing workflow, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years manufacturing/production experience, or 5+ years in lieu of degree
• 1+ years leading a team or project
• Experience with safety-critical systems, mechanical assemblies, or heavy equipment preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ERP software, and reading engineering drawings
• Ability to work 2nd shift, extended hours and weekends, and stand for long periods

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technician schedules, production processes, safety, and area standards
• Lead, coach, and mentor technicians, including reviews and corrective actions
• Lead transition of product from engineering development to full rate production
• Drive continuous improvement, risk reduction, root-cause analysis, and investigations
• Establish and analyze area metrics to optimize workflow and reduce defects
