Description

You will support StepStone's global Infrastructure Real Assets business by handling secondary transactions, fund investments, and co-investments. This hands-on role involves reviewing and negotiating transaction documents, assisting with fund formation, and collaborating with external counsel and internal teams.

Requirements

• Law degree (LLB or JD) and membership in good standing with an applicable law society
• Approximately 4-6 years private markets transactional experience focusing on co-investments and secondary fund investments
• Effective time management and attention to detail
• Self-starter with strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities

Responsibilities

• Review, negotiate and draft documentation for secondary transactions, fund investments, and co-investments
• Assist senior attorneys in fund formation and structuring for commingled funds and separately managed accounts
• Assist with structuring, entity formation, and ongoing legal operational needs of SIRA accounts and funds
• Collaborate with and manage outside counsel for investment activity and client account formation
• Supervise paralegals in fund investment matters, confidentiality agreements, and closing-related tasks
