You'll write reported news pieces for a flagship newsletter read by half a million people, covering U.S. and global stories. You'll conduct original interviews and file clean copy on tight deadlines. This role offers the chance to cover diverse topics daily and develop specialties.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Write at least two reported pieces per week as part of a remote team.
• Conduct original interviews with multiple sources.
• File clean, fact-checked copy on strict deadlines.
• Write entries for Quick Hits and In Other News sections.

📋 Requirements

• Obsession with the news cycle and strong news judgment.
• Ability to write cleanly and fast for a general audience.
• Skill at quickly identifying expert sources on any topic.
• Ability to learn new reporting tools quickly.
