💼 About This Role

You'll support production of a Group 5 autonomous aircraft as a V&V Systems Engineer. You'll demonstrate that all hardware meets system-level requirements and technical performance metrics before fielding. This role is accountable for planning and executing verification activities per the program SEMP.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Plan and execute hardware verification across full product lifecycle
• Conduct design verification testing (DVT) through environmental qualification
• Ensure verification activities comply with Systems Engineering Management Plan
• Document verification evidence and maintain requirements traceability

📋 Requirements

• B.S. in aerospace, mechanical, electrical or similar engineering
• 3+ years experience in systems engineering or hardware qualification in aerospace/defense
• Direct experience supporting environmental qualification testing of electronic/electromechanical hardware
• Working knowledge of MIL-STD-810 and familiarity with MIL-STD-461/464/704

✨ Nice to Have

• 5+ years in hardware qualification or environmental test engineering
• Experience with DO-160 and cross-referencing to MIL-STD standards
• Hands-on experience directing or witnessing environmental testing at a test lab
