Description

You will lead procurement strategies for capital equipment and construction projects at SpaceX's Starlink program, negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships to support the production of customer-facing products. Your work will directly enable the deployment of the world's most advanced broadband internet system.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, operations/supply chain, master production scheduling, or construction/facilities/industrial plant management
• OR 9+ years of experience in lieu of degree (same fields)
• Strong technical and business background
• Experience in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships
• Project management and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive contract management processes for construction projects
• Develop and execute equipment services procurement strategies focusing on construction
• Perform market analysis to determine should costs and achieve best purchasing deals
• Create and negotiate contract documents in collaboration with legal department
• Track and report projected and actual spend, assess budgetary risk
