Description

As a Payroll Specialist Lead at Remote, you will take ownership of end-to-end payroll processing, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and collaborate with teams like Finance and Product to improve processes. You'll also mentor team members and support regional managers, all within a fully remote, async-first environment.

Requirements

• End-to-end payroll processing experience (in-house or service provider)
• Knowledge of payroll best practices
• Proficient in Excel/Google Suite
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities
• Fluent English

Responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert for the country
• Manage relationships with Payroll Implementation, Finance, Product, and Engineers
• Process full end-to-end payroll in-house, including statutory filings and compliance
• Focus on KPIs and SLAs, implement and improve processes
• Mentor and support payroll specialists, back up regional managers
