Description

Lead a team building Postscript's Customer Data Platform from the ground up, collaborating with product, data science, and business stakeholders. You'll manage engineers through performance reviews, mentorship, and process improvements while partnering with architects on data infrastructure, pipeline reliability, and scalability.

Requirements

• 3+ years of leadership experience directly managing engineers
• Experience building and scaling data platforms, pipelines, or event-driven systems
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT patterns, and real-time processing
• Demonstrated excellence in recruiting and onboarding engineers
• Early stage/high growth SaaS experience
• Experience with AWS (Kafka, Postgres, MongoDB or similar)
• Introduced systems with high observability (alerting, logging, monitoring)
• Passion for delivering great products (martech or ecommerce preferred)

• Lead a team of engineers building the Customer Data Platform
• Collaborate with product managers, data science, business stakeholders, and other engineering teams
• Carry out performance management duties: feedback, 1:1s, annual reviews
• Provide technical mentorship and professional development for direct reports
• Establish development and team processes for efficiency
• Develop technical roadmaps for data infrastructure and scalability
• Recruit and hire engineers
