Description

You will lead continuous improvement initiatives for the Apollo humanoid robot, driving design and manufacturing optimizations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness while mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
• 7+ years mechanical engineering experience with design for manufacturing
• Expertise in CAD (SolidWorks, CATIA) and FEA simulation
• Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and manufacturing processes
• Experience with complex electromechanical systems, preferably robotics

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for Apollo humanoid robot
• Conduct root cause analysis on failures and production inefficiencies
• Optimize mechanical designs for manufacturability, reliability, and cost
• Design, prototype, and test new components and sub-systems
• Mentor junior engineers
