Description
As a founding member of Sigma's Technical Support team in Australia, you will autonomously diagnose and resolve complex technical issues for enterprise customers using the Sigma platform. You'll collaborate closely with US-based Engineering, Product, and Go-to-Market teams to shape how we scale global support in the region.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise data or analytics products
- Strong foundation in CS fundamentals, databases, and business intelligence
- Advanced SQL proficiency (JOINs, partitions, window functions, aggregations, CTEs, subqueries)
- Experience troubleshooting SQL performance and understanding query plans
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers and pre-sales to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, owning escalations end-to-end
- Act as regional extension of global Support team, collaborating with US-based Engineering and Product across time zones
- Partner cross-functionally with backend, frontend, DevOps, Design, Product, and Go-to-Market teams
- Develop best practices and tooling to improve issue diagnosis and system performance
- Participate in quarterly projects and periodic on-call duties
