Description

As a founding member of Sigma's Technical Support team in Australia, you will autonomously diagnose and resolve complex technical issues for enterprise customers using the Sigma platform. You'll collaborate closely with US-based Engineering, Product, and Go-to-Market teams to shape how we scale global support in the region.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise data or analytics products
  • Strong foundation in CS fundamentals, databases, and business intelligence
  • Advanced SQL proficiency (JOINs, partitions, window functions, aggregations, CTEs, subqueries)
  • Experience troubleshooting SQL performance and understanding query plans
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with customers and pre-sales to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, owning escalations end-to-end
  • Act as regional extension of global Support team, collaborating with US-based Engineering and Product across time zones
  • Partner cross-functionally with backend, frontend, DevOps, Design, Product, and Go-to-Market teams
  • Develop best practices and tooling to improve issue diagnosis and system performance
  • Participate in quarterly projects and periodic on-call duties
