You'll own laser-based process development for cutting and finishing glass substrates in AR eyepieces. You'll drive scalable manufacturing processes from early R&D through production ramp. This role blends hands-on experimentation with cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced AR innovation environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop laser-based processes for cutting, shaping, and finishing glass substrates.
• Design and execute DOEs to solve process challenges (edge strength, yield, precision).
• Program, set up, and operate laser and precision fabrication tools.
• Develop metrology methods and validation workflows for process performance.

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience in process engineering or advanced manufacturing.
• BS/MS/PhD in engineering or related field.
• Experience developing or running laser-based processes (cutting, dicing, micromachining).
• Hands-on experience with precision materials, preferably glass or brittle substrates.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience scaling laser processes from prototype to high-volume manufacturing.
• Deep understanding of laser-material interactions with glass.
• Familiarity with metrology tools (CMM, optical microscopy, interferometry).
