💼 About This Role

You'll build the factory that builds the product: CI/CD pipelines, merge queues, dev deploy infrastructure, and AI-native tooling for 300+ engineers. You'll own systems end to end, from diagnosis to prevention, and shape how billions in spend flows through Ramp. This role combines high-leverage systems thinking with high-ownership incident response.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and operate merge queues, dev deploys, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead production incidents end-to-end with diagnosis and postmortems.
• Design golden paths for services (API, DB, Kafka, Temporal).
• Measure and optimize PR throughput and CI/CD cycle time.

📋 Requirements

• Experience building and operating CI/CD or developer tooling at scale.
• Comfortable diagnosing production failures at the infrastructure layer.
• Strong software architecture skills with ability to ship 80/20.
• Uses AI as a force multiplier in development workflows.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Python, Temporal, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis.
• Familiarity with Buildkite, LaunchDarkly, Datadog, AWS.
• Experience building AI-augmented tooling or agentic systems.
