Description

As an OSP Inspector at Pearce, you will conduct field inspections of aerial, underground, and buried plant facilities, ensuring compliance with construction standards and safety codes. Your work directly supports network reliability and public safety through accurate documentation and clear communication with teams and contractors.

Requirements

• Experience in outside plant inspection or related field
• Knowledge of OSP construction standards and NESC requirements
• Proficiency with mapping and GPS tools
• Effective communication skills via email and phone
• Ability to manage time and travel schedules efficiently

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections of OSP facilities including aerial, underground, and buried plant
• Conduct wooden pole ground-line inspections and assess pole conditions
• Verify contractor work complies with OSP Construction Standards and NESC requirements
• Document inspections, audits, and pole transfers electronically or manually
• Track inspection progress, follow up on corrective actions, and escalate non-compliance
