Description

As Managing Editor, you will lead Chicago news coverage across WBEZ and the Chicago Sun-Times, partnering with the Editor-in-Chief to execute editorial strategy, oversee daily operations, and foster collaboration across digital, print, and audio teams. You'll manage special projects and drive innovation in local nonprofit journalism.

Requirements

• 8-10 years newsroom experience with significant leadership
• Strong editorial judgment in daily and enterprise journalism
• Deep understanding of local news and public media values
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead through influence
• Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field (Master's preferred)
