💼 About This Role

You'll partner with backend and frontend developers to build and maintain Veeva.com and its supporting web properties as part of the Digital Marketing team. You'll develop custom WordPress plugins and themes, manage API integrations, and ensure technical performance and security. Join a mission-driven company shaping the life sciences industry.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and maintain WordPress site architectures and determine technical direction.
• Migrate regional WordPress sites into a single multi-site network.
• Build and harden integrations via RESTful APIs between WordPress and external systems.
• Debug, optimize performance, caching, and security of legacy systems.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years engineering large-scale enterprise WordPress websites.
• Experience developing custom WordPress plugins and themes.
• Advanced PHP expertise.
• Experience with WordPress multi-site environments including localized sites.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with WPML.
• Proficiency in Unix command line and WP-CLI.
• Broader skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js.
